🌊⛈️ With the stormy weather starting to rear its head again, we just wanted to reassure our guests — no need to panic! 🥰

Our Starpods might look cosy and cute, but they're no strangers to a Shetland storm! 💪 They're extremely well secured to the concrete pads, and with two Shetland winters already under their belts, they've proven they can handle a good battering from Mother Nature! 🌪️

So while the wind howls outside, you can stay tucked up inside, warm and cosy, watching the wild Shetland weather do its thing. Sometimes that's all part of the island experience! 🌊

🏡❤️ New Airbnb rules? No change here at Mirriemora Starpods! ✨

You've probably all seen the headlines about Airbnb's new rules on checkout chores, stripping beds, washing dishes and taking out the rubbish.

Well, here's our take on it… 🥰

We've never had a list of checkout chores, and we never will! Our guests come to Shetland to relax, explore and enjoy their holiday, not to spend their last morning cleaning!

And do you know what? Our guests have been absolutely AMAZING! ❤️

Time and time again, we've opened our pods after checkout to find them left in fantastic condition. Some guests have even gone above and beyond, stripping beds, taking rubbish away and doing little things we've never asked or expected them to do.

We notice it all, and we genuinely appreciate every single one of you. 🥹❤️

So while the new rules might be causing a stir elsewhere, it's business as usual here at Mirriemora!

No chore lists. No checkout cleaning demands. Just a warm welcome, a relaxing stay and a huge thank you to the wonderful people who choose to stay with us. 🌊⭐

I spotted a little glitch with our booking system today that meant some available dates for Starview weren't showing available on Booking.com! 🙈

The good news is I’ve manually corrected the availability until the end of 2027, so dates that were previously showing as unavailable may now be free! 🎉
