Set in Cabrières-d’Avignon, a quietly charming village in the heart of the Luberon, Villa l’Olivier Blanc is a contemporary family villa - thoughtfully designed for groups who want space, flexibility and the full Provençal experience on the doorstep.

Destination Spotlight | Maussane-les-Alpilles

Located in the heart of The Alpilles, between Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and Les Baux-de-Provence, Maussane-les-Alpilles is a village less visited than its neighbours but all the richer for it.

Ancient olive trees line the lanes, small streams thread through the village - earning it the name ‘village of a thousand streams’ - and the stone houses and inviting squares have a rustic charm that feel authentically Provençal.

Maussane and neighbouring Mouriès are France’s leading producers of olive oil, with 40,000 olive trees between them. A visit to one of the local mills - tasting, learning, leaving with a bottle or two - is one of those simple Provençal pleasures that stays with you long after you’ve left.

In summer, the village comes alive with Camargue races, herdsmen games, traditional parades and the Festival of Time Regained. In spring and autumn, the trails and cycle paths through Les Alpilles Regional Natural Park offer some of the finest walking in Provence.

Destination Spotlight: Ménerbes

Perched high in the hills of the Luberon, Ménerbes is one of the most beautiful villages in France - and one of the most historically rich too.

Inhabited since prehistoric times, it has drawn artists, writers and discerning travellers for generations.

The village rewards those who take their time. Stroll past the 18th-century home where Dora Maar - photographer and muse of Picasso - spent every summer until her death in 1997.

Look up at Le Castellet, the 16th-century castle once owned by painter Nicolas de Staël. Step inside the Saint-Luc church, built on the site of a medieval priory.

Beyond the village, the 13th-century Abbaye Saint-Hilaire - surrounded by cherry orchards, vineyards and olive trees - is among the finest abbeys in the Luberon.

At Place de l’Horloge, the Maison de la Truffe et du Vin du Luberon occupies a 17th-century mansion with vaulted cellars given over to tastings and wine workshops. It is the kind of place that makes a morning disappear entirely.
