IT'S BBQ SEASON!
But please note, we request that all guests strictly follow park rules on BBQ's....
Away Resorts allows BBQs at Tattershall Lakes, but there are strict rules you must follow.
1. Ground Protection: BBQs must not be placed directly on the grass or wooden decking, as this is a severe fire hazard and can cause melting or burning.
2. Safe Positioning: Keep all BBQs on solid ground, away from combustible materials, and ensure they are attended at all times.
3. Disposable BBQs: If you use a disposable BBQ, it must be raised off the ground or placed in a proper BBQ holder.
4. Disposal: Ensure ashes are completely cold before throwing them into the designated metal outdoor bins.
❗Be aware that during periods of extreme heat or dry weather, the park may temporarily ban disposable BBQs for safety reasons.
We recommend at The Lake House, that if you are using disposable BBQs you use the metal stand that we provide and that this is placed on the paved patio, not the wooden decking.
