There's something about a spring wedding here that makes the whole day feel a little more relaxed.🌷

When the weather plays along, the ceremony moves outside into the gardens and everything shifts.

Guests settle onto the lawn, the house sits quietly in the background, and the whole day has this unhurried, open feeling that's hard to replicate indoors.

Drinks on the terrace afterwards, portraits in the gardens while everyone finds their seats for dinner. Just one beautiful property and a day that feels exactly as it should.

Mere Brook House sits in Thornton Hough, in the heart of the Wirral countryside. The kind of setting that feels properly away from it all, with no noise from anywhere nearby.

Liverpool city centre is twenty minutes down the road. Chester is close too. So while the venue feels like a genuine escape, getting here isn't complicated for guests coming from further afield. 🤍

Every package at Mere Brook House includes exclusive use of property, a three course wedding breakfast prepared fresh by our in-house chef, on-site accommodation for the wedding party, a personal wedding coordinator, and private bar service. 💍

We have three packages available, all built around the same core experience, but tailored to different visions.

There are no hidden extras or surprises on the final invoice. 🤍

The reception rooms here give couples a lot to work with. 🤍

High ceilings, Edwardian details, natural light and a blank canvas that suits almost any styling direction without needing much added to it.

This couple kept things relaxed and personal. Seasonal flowers, carefully chosen details, a room that felt like theirs rather than a venue they'd hired for the evening.

That's what we love seeing here. Not a showroom version of a wedding, just a celebration that actually reflects the people having it. 💍
