A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported and contributed to making the event such a success. It was wonderful to connect with so many inspiring people, hear your stories and share meaningful conversations in a room filled with ambition, encouragement and community.

Thinking about selling in Cornwall? 🏡 Here’s a hidden risk I see plans fall down on: vacant possession.

Vacant possession sounds straightforward, but it’s not just about keys and lock-up. In real life it can impact exchange dates, completion timing, and even what you’re legally able to do if things don’t go to plan. And the most common mistake I’ve seen? Serving notice when you’re not 100% clear on the process, the dates, and what “vacant” actually means in your specific circumstances.

Let me explain what I mean in plain English:
1) “Vacant” needs clarity
Is it empty, is it clear of belongings, and when exactly must it be? Small wording differences can create big delays.

2) Notice without a plan can backfire ⚠️
If notice is served without the right understanding of timing and responsibilities, you may end up prolonging a dispute instead of resolving it.
