The Hox Neighbourhood Guide to: Brussels 🇧🇪

We’re getting to know The Hox, Brussels a little better, the best way we know how: by heading out into the neighbourhood with one of our favourite Hox friends, photographer and Brussels local ROBIN JORIS DULLERS.

With a camera in hand and a few favourite spots up his sleeve, Robin took us around the places that make this corner of Brussels feel like home. From independent shops and Belgian design to creative spaces, good coffee, proper fries and a bit of green space, here’s his guide to a day in the neighbourhood:

A little look back at London Design Festival at The Hox, Shoreditch.

We teamed up with slancha® for Travel Light, filling the Hox Shop with 13 objects created by emerging designers, each inspired by hotel stays and life on the move.

Slancha also transformed the lobby with The Collectors Lounge installation, guests got hands-on at a magnet-making workshop hosted by GEORGE EXON and we brought the creative community together for a special Hox Talk with Mitre & Mondays and Duncan Riches.

Last week, we brought Room Service to Paris Design Week 🖍️🐊 🛌

To celebrate our limited drop with Lacoste, designed by artist Michael McGregor, we gathered a handful of friends for a closer look at the ultra-limited capsule. Paris is officially sold out, but you can still get your hands on it at our other 18 hotels.

And because no Room Service moment is complete without, well, room service, we served up Michael’s favourites: cheeseburgers, club sandwiches and plenty of bubbles from our friends at Moët & Chandon Official.

We’re flipping the script on room service. 🛎️

We caught up with Michael McGregor in his room at Paris to talk about the inspiration behind Room Service, our special-edition capsule with , available at The Hoxton Hotels worldwide, exclusively through Room Service.

Across the seven-piece edit, Michael’s distinctive illustrations capture the small moments that make up the rhythm of hotel life, from check-in to settling in. Bold typography and nostalgic nods to hotel rituals meet Lacoste’s clean lines and signature green-and-white palette.

London Design Festival has landed in Shoreditch, and we’ve teamed up with slancha® for Travel Light, filling the Hox Shop with 13 objects from designers around the world, inspired by hotel stays and life on the move.

Think mini vases, flat pack bedside lights, hangers and even a portable ice cream spoon. Everyday objects, reimagined for travel.

Alongside it, The Collectors Lounge reimagines the hotel lobby through collectible furniture, lighting and design from Slancha’s wider creative community.

12–20 September at The Hoxton, Shoreditch
