🍮 A little taste of home…

Introducing Kath’s homemade Sticky Toffee Pudding, served warm with a scoop of Lake District vanilla ice cream — the perfect combination of rich, sticky, sweet and creamy. 🤎

And this pudding is particularly close to home for us…

Sticky toffee pudding has strong roots right here in the Lake District. While its exact origins remain a little disputed, the dessert was famously popularised in the 1970s at Sharrow Bay on the shores of Ullswater, where chef Francis Coulson developed and served his version of the now-iconic pudding.

Just a little further south, Cartmel became synonymous with sticky toffee pudding, with the village’s famous pudding being handmade and sold from the village shop before gaining a following far beyond Cumbria.

So when you enjoy a bowl of Kath’s Sticky Toffee Pudding at Broadoaks, you’re enjoying a dessert with a very special connection to our corner of the world. 🌿
