Fancy becoming a world record holder while eating a cream tea? 🍓

On 19th September, is bringing thousands of people together at the Royal Cornwall Showground to attempt the world record for the largest cream tea party.

Scones, live music, Cornish traders and the chance to make a little bit of history; all while raising money for Cornwall Hospice.

It doesn’t get much more Cornish than that. And yes, it’s jam first 😉

The bit of the holiday you don’t always plan for.. 🫶

Coming back sandy, windswept and happily exhausted after a day on the coast. Someone heads straight for the hot tub, someone opens a bottle, and nobody’s in any particular rush to do anything.

That’s the beauty of Peacehay. Cornwall is waiting outside the door, but coming home is pretty lovely too 🌿

Fancy a nose around someone else’s garden? 🪴

This September, private gardens across Cornwall are opening their gates for the National Garden Scheme, giving you a chance to explore places you’d usually never get to see.

From Trevone to gardens further afield, it’s a lovely way to discover a different side of Cornwall (and raise money for charity while you’re at it).

An evening at Retorrick Mill is always a good idea 🫶

Tucked away near Mawgan Porth, Bucca’s Kitchen serves seriously good food in a wonderfully laid-back setting.

Think small plates, incredible pizzas and sharing feasts, enjoyed by the fire with a drink in hand... and, if you time it right, live music too.

The kind of place where dinner easily turns into the whole evening 🪩

A Cornish afternoon, sorted!

Start with a game of .up.padel, cool off with a drink in the sunshine, then settle in with one of .burger's legendary burgers.

Just nine minutes from Peacehay Barn, this is the kind of place you'll head to for an hour and somehow still be there come sunset 🎾

The best thing about Cornwall? It doesn't end with summer 🌿

Autumn brings quieter beaches, golden coast paths, cosy evenings and the luxury of having so much of North Cornwall to yourselves.

While our summer weeks have now found their families for 2027, there are still a handful of off-peak stays available. If you've been dreaming of a slower escape by the coast, now is the perfect time to plan it.

We can't wait to welcome you 🤍

After a day on the coast, this is where we'd want to be.

A drink in hand, the evening sun warming the balcony and the rolling Cornish countryside stretching out in front of you.

A bucket, crabbing line and a piece of bacon 🦀

For generations, that's been the recipe for a perfect afternoon in Padstow.

In a harbour shaped by centuries of fishing, it's a tradition that's still bringing families together today... and proof that the simplest holiday memories are often the ones that last the longest!

If we were planning the perfect Cornish afternoon, it would look a little something like this...

A leisurely walk to Stepper Point, a refreshing dip and sunbathe at Hawkers Cove, followed by a stop at Rest A While Tea Garden for a delicious cream tea with this stunning view before heading home.

A beautiful day out 💛

One for the itinerary 🥾

Start in Little Petherick and follow the Saints' Way into Padstow, tracing the creek before joining the Camel Trail for the final stretch into the harbour.

It finishes exactly where every good walk should... somewhere serving fish & chips.

(Just be sure to check the tide times before you set off)
