We found it! 🤩
After an hour of walking up and down the wrong field, we finally found the “secret” swimming hole in Lauzerte 🌿

Our guests can now make the most of this hidden gem. Earlier in the year, water flows through the opening from the adjoining river, and the pool is deep and wide enough for swimming.

It’s an incredibly peaceful and beautiful spot — and well worth looking for! 😊

Especially perfect for our two properties in Lauzerte village centre: Le Petit Bijou and La Terrasse Ensoleillée — the village right on your doorstep, and wild swimming just 15 minutes away on foot. Don’t worry we'll provide photos with our instructions on how to find it 😂😂

Still no need to worry about ETIAS just yet — applications aren’t open, so there’s still nothing to apply for nor pay for at the moment.

At Halcyon Leisure, we’ll always keep you updated with any changes that might affect your holiday. And if you have any doubts about travelling to France, just ask! 😊

EUROPE'S NEW TRAVEL PERMIT HAS NO LAUNCH DATE ANYMORE ✈️

The EU has quietly removed its late-2026 ETIAS target and now says it will announce a start date 'several months' before launch.
⠀
ETIAS was originally due in 2021. It has been pushed back every single year since.
⠀
Right now, no action is required. The EU explicitly states ETIAS is 'currently not in operation.'
⠀
Scam sites are already collecting passport details and payments for applications that do not exist yet.
⠀
When it does launch, the fee is €20 and most approvals are expected within minutes, valid for three years.
