Since we opened, we've been nominated for The Camping and Caravanning Club's Certificated Site of the Year and been overwhelmed

by the positive reaction of our guests. Many describe it as "camping like it used to be" with the addition of little luxuries such as "the best shower I've ever experienced on a small campsite..." Here is just a small sample of comments from our visitors' book...

After more than 15 years as a Caravan and Camping Club site, we are starting a new era with the Caravan and Motorhome Club. Sadly it means we can no longer welcome tents, but it does mean we are now allowed to advertise on online sites such as PitchUp. Remember though, (in true Yorkshire fashion!) if you book direct we don’t have to pay a commission. Old friends who have stayed before should still get in touch as I will offer a pitch discount if you join the new club/try my best to help 💕 🚐 🌳

Two small businesses, The Crafty Shearer and Charlotte Megan Corney have helped us recently. Anna Hall (look at her numberplate) will spend the winter using the wool in her crafting business and artist Charlotte drew us up our first ever rules - after more than 15 years running a campsite! She completely ‘got’ how we wanted it to look, lovely and relaxed. Two such talented young ladies
