Apart from their effort to make oil products readily available to the populace, they are confronted by state obligations to deliver services according to regulatory standards. In the face of these standards, OMC Service Stations providing quality services maybe suffering from the negative general perceptions of the ones providing poor services. Thus, it’s important to recognize the commitment of well performing ones. Besides, we are all encouraged by the regulators (NPA, GSA, ect) to help their work of implementing standards of quality services at OMC Service Stations. And so the Ghana Petroleum Choice Awards (PCCA Ghana) as a civil ceremony wishes to inspire OMC Service Stations towards quality service delivery by highlighting commitments to giving the best to petroleum product consumers. This broad important objective is achievable in the following ways:
• Recognize/reward OMC Service Stations for displaying profound commitment to service delivery;
• Recognize profound programs/strategies and regulatory frameworks (especially from the state), stakeholder organizations and individuals that have ensured or which actions have resulted in quality service delivery at OMC Service Stations; and
• Reward loyal consumers of petroleum products for their important role in enhancing quality service delivery at OMC filling stations.
