We recently stayed at Richmond Villa. Our hosts Kevin & Sally provided everything that you needed and more. From the Welcome pack on arrival to the well stocked linen, towels and toiletries. The villa was spotless and the gardens were well stocked with beautiful plants. There was several areas to sit and dine outdoors which includes the balcony area, BBQ area and of course the pool area. There is also a lovely patio seating area outside the main bedroom where you can eat breakfast amongst the lovely flowers. The surrounding area was peaceful and the views from the villa were breathtaking. There is a lovely restaurant bar in close proximity of the villa which was reasonably priced as well as a little supermarket which specialised in home made cheeses. The local beach is Poros which has charming shops including a great butchers and bakers. The Rock cafe is worth a visit. Skala is 12km away via the coastal road which is amazing be it walking, quad bike. Argostoli is definitely worth a visit filled with shops cafes & restaurants. Places to go include Melissani Cave where you take a boat ride to view and Drogarati Cave. Thank you Kevin and Sally we had a great time and will be back.

Last week it was my birthday so we went out for the day to Fiskardo. It was a great day, we love going there as it has a great atmosphere. Just a few photos and one of my favourite meal Kefalonian meat pie. You cannot come to Kefalonia and not try this pie as it is very delicious.
