Last night, we celebrated more than a resort. We celebrated a new chapter for Istria. 🌿

With the grand opening celebration of Pical Resort 5*, Valamar Collection, we marked a milestone for Poreč, Istria and Croatian tourism, together with the people who made the evening so incredibly special.

We were honoured to mark this important moment together with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković, members of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, Istria County Prefect Boris Miletić, Mayor of Poreč Loris Peršurić, Valamar’s shareholders, partners and distinguished guests from Croatian business and public life, hosted by Valamar President of the Management Board Željko Kukurin.

In his address, Željko Kukurin marked the opening of Pical as the successful completion of Valamar’s largest and most complex project to date, a long-term investment that is changing the tourism landscape of Poreč, Istria and Croatia.

Then the night opened up to all of Istria.

To the 5,000 people who filled Pical beach with energy, warmth and joy: thank you. You turned this opening celebration into a memory we will always be proud of. Watching you sing, cheer and share this moment with us reminded us exactly why we built this place and who we built it for.

To Perpetuum Jazzile, Josipa Lisac, Nina Badrić, Urban & 4, Dino Jelusić, Natali Radovčić and the magnificent symphony orchestra under conductor Alan Bjelinski: thank you for giving this night a soul.

And to Il Volo, our guests from Italy who closed the evening in the most breathtaking way possible: grazie. You made the Parenzana whole again.

To the city of Poreč, to every local partner, to everyone who believed in this vision long before the first stone was laid: this is for you!

We are proud. We are grateful. And we are just getting started.

Interes za Tribute to Parenzana event svečanog otvorenja Pical Resort Valamar Collection nadmašio je sva očekivanja, a sve dostupne ulaznice planule su u vrlo kratkom roku.

Kako bismo omogućili dolazak još većem broju gostiju, proširili smo event zonu te osigurali dodatni broj ulaznica, ukupno 5.000. Zahvaljujući tome, dio prijavljenih koji se trenutno nalaze na listi čekanja uskoro će dobiti potvrdu putem e-maila da dođu preuzeti svoje ulaznice.
