Today our journey (John O’Groats to Land’s End) took us through the valleys of South Wales. Relics of tin and coal mining days are everywhere. Small villages nestled into the hillsides with long rows of terrace houses. Quiet roads with gorgeous views. A joy to cycle in this fascinating region. We choose to come down the Taff Valley with sections of traffic free cycling on the smooth Taff Trail. The mining industry has been somewhat replaced with outdoor activities - cycling, zip lining, mountain biking, hiking, canoeing….you name it! A wonderful area to explore and we’re so stoked that we decided to include Wales on our Top-to-Bottom of Britain tour! Launching in June 2027.
