The company was founded by Des and Ena FitzGerald in 1963 , some of the people thatstarted working with Des and Ena in the early sixties are still working nearly 50 years later as is Ena FitzGerald our MD , she is the heart and soul of our family business . Over the 50 years many changes have taken place , the tragic loss of Des in 1996 , which at the time seemed to be a mountain that could not

be climbed ! with contracts completed in the new Terminal 2 in Dublin Airport , Coca Cola in Drogheda , the G hotel in Galway as well as work throughout the World , we know that Des would recognise that we have climbed the mountain .

Jim Kiernan was to the forefront of the development of the Chamber of Commerce in Kells , he was a driving force in fundraising for Christmas Lights , the Hay Festival . No matter what was asked of Jim and Mary their answer was always the same , yes . We have lost a stalwart of the Kells Business Community and a part of what makes our town special . He was a proud Kells man and will be so sadly missed by so many .
