Getting near to finishing the first room downstairs, the Fox’s Den. It will have king size bed, ensuite with extra large shower, 3 seater couch, dining area, French doors to outside seating area.
There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes when you’re doing a lot of it yourself. From clearing out to clutter that it gathered over the years in the space, antique furniture, timber and more timber, stuff ‘that come in handy someday’, all needed to be cleared out.
Designing the floor space to maximise the functionality of the rooms.
Extra soundproofing has gone in, 200mm insulation in ceiling, double soundproof slabs, double wall internal partitions, 100mm insulation.
This is the nice place, getting to pick the finish and the walls, type of flooring, type of bed and bedding, ensuite tiles, etc.
