At Forest Escapes, we’re growing more than just food—we’re growing a closer connection with nature. 🌿
Our organic farm is currently home to Indrayani rice, growing amidst the beautiful landscape of Koyna.
And this is just the beginning.
After October, we’ll be planting 35–40 varieties of vegetables on the farm, creating a diverse seasonal harvest that will make its way straight to our kitchen at Kokum Restaurant.

At Forest Escapes, we’ve created a new Insect Hotel—a safe space where beneficial insects can nest, rest, and find shelter through the changing seasons.

And the best part? It’s built almost entirely from materials found in nature:
🥥 Coconut shells
🌾 Dry grass & straw
🎋 Bamboo pieces & hollow stems
🪵 Small pieces of wood & bark
🍂 Dry leaves & twigs

Why does it matter?
Beneficial insects play an important role in healthy ecosystems, from pollination to natural pest control. By creating a habitat for them, we’re taking one more small step towards supporting the biodiversity around us.
