We would like to draw your kind attention to the important matters raised by our association during the recent visit of Shri R.K. Sudhanshu Ji to Ranikhet. He patiently heard our concerns and assured us of necessary action on priority.

The key issues placed before him were:
1. Upgradation of tourism infrastructure - roads, parking, and public amenities
2. Simplification of licensing and renewal process for hotels, restaurants & homestays
3. Resolution of seasonal water and electricity supply issues
4. Promotion of Ranikhet as a year-round tourist destination
5. Improved waste management and cleanliness in tourist zones

Sir, with the peak tourist season approaching, early action on these points will greatly benefit local businesses, generate employment, and improve visitor experience in Ranikhet.

We, the hospitality stakeholders of Ranikhet, are committed to working hand-in-hand with the district administration for sustainable and responsible tourism.

रानीखेत का मेन मार्केट रोड: पर्यटन सीज़न शुरू, लेकिन सड़क की सुध लेने वाला कोई नहीं?

पहाड़ों की रानी रानीखेत में पर्यटन सीज़न शुरू हो चुका है। होटल भरने लगे हैं, स्थानीय दुकानदारों को अच्छे सीज़न की उम्मीद है, और सैलानी यहाँ की ठंडी हवा और खूबसूरती का आनंद लेने आ रहे हैं।

लेकिन जैसे ही आप मेन मार्केट की सड़क पर कदम रखते हैं, हकीकत सामने आ जाती है — गहरे गड्ढे, टूटी हुई सड़क, और हर दिन बिगड़ते हालात। न कोई मरम्मत, न रख-रखाव, न कोई जवाबदेही।

क्या हम किसी बड़े हादसे का इंतज़ार कर रहे हैं? 2027 के चुनाव पास हैं, फिर भी एक प्रमुख पर्यटन स्थल की सबसे ज़रूरी सड़क की अनदेखी हो रही है। जनता की सुरक्षा राजनीति और निजी स्वार्थ से ऊपर होनी चाहिए।
