Yesterday we stumbled upon this airshow. Our host said it was a practice day but after an hour if aerial stunts we thought that maybe it got lost in translation.
Well today was clearly the real show. Yesterday was a practice day for sure. Such an impressive show.

Another stunning day in the hiking around this beautiful lake. It was chilly again but sunny. It’s so hard to take a bad pic here. Such beauty. We arrived by 8:30 and had the place mostly to ourselves and then by 11:30 when we left the place was busy.

Took a short detour into Austria just to say we went to Austria. Beautiful country and incredible hearty food. It was great food to eat after a long hike.

Incredible day hiking in the Dolomites. The weather was great. Sunny but chilly.
We did a 6.2 mile loop around the Tre Cime did Lavaredo
It was a day of unending stunning views.

It’s this guys birthday and I’m so excited. I love this guy. He will climb mountains with me and cross oceans with me. He’s the best husband I could ask for. He loves Jesus with all his heart. I love you babe!! Happy birthday. I hope this Sicilian vacation is the perfect celebration!!!

This has been by far our favorite place to eat in . Don’t let the cheese counter make you miss out on an exceptional meal. You might want to pass it by but you shouldn’t. Stop. Ask questions. Sit down and enjoy an outstanding meal.

We spent a few days in this sweet sweet town. The New Town market was so charming and older than anything we see in American. But keep walking to the Old town market and beyond and you find buildings dating back to 1000. Beautiful half timbered house line the streets. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy some rest instead the hustle and bustle of big cities. We intended to hike, but the city was so charming and our Airbnb was so spectacular we pretty much just stayed close by.

Really good short documentary of the fire that burned through our beautiful gorge a year ago.

This time last year the Gorge was burning. 'Forest on Fire' reflects on the blaze that shocked our state.

Bikes and beer that’s what was on the agenda today. We rode over 15 miles and stopped at 2 breweries and a bakery. Such a fun day. Who knew what in the summer could be so much fun.

When we planned our trip to we had no idea that was happening. But when you show up someplace you just get as close to the action as you can. So we climbed the mountain to take in the “best seats” in the house.
