The sauna faces the mountains, and that changes the whole thing.
You sit there, sweat, look out at the peaks through the glass, and after the cold water you disappear into the quiet room. Curtains, warm wood, a blanket, and nobody talking. Most people plan twenty minutes and stay two hours.

Waking up here takes a while, and not because the bed is that good.
You open the curtain, see the valley sitting there in the haze, and then you just stay where you are for another ten minutes. Coffee can wait. The balcony is two steps away and the mountains are not going anywhere.

The best part of the morning happens before breakfast.
Out the door, up the path past the old barn, and after five minutes the whole valley opens up below you. Layer after layer of mountains, still hazy, the light coming in flat from the side. Nobody else out there yet.
