We have some new neighbors 🦡🌿
A few days ago, we discovered a huge burrow in one of the fields at our agritourism farm. A real underground structure! The question immediately arose: who could have settled here?
Curiosity got the better of us, so we set up a camera trap nearby to observe the nightlife in our field without disturbing anyone.
And now—the mystery has been solved. ❤️
A mother badger appeared in the video, along with her little one.
It turns out that while we’re going about our usual business-welcoming guests, working in the garden, and strolling through the fields-another life is unfolding right nearby. Quiet, hidden from view, with its own paths, homes, and little family stories.
Now our agritourism farm has another family of residents. Though, this one prefers to come out of their den when everyone else is already asleep. 🦡🌙
We’ll watch over them from a distance and with great care-after all, this is their home, too, now. 💚
