For a vacation villa, design isn’t just about making a space look beautiful, the materials you choose shape the entire guest experience.

Natural textures, warm woods, stone, breathable fabrics and finishes that can handle coastal living create spaces that feel calm, comfortable and connected to their surroundings.

And in a competitive vacation-rental market, those details matter. Guests have endless options. Thoughtful design is what makes them stop scrolling, book, remember the stay and come back.

That’s the approach behind Oceanview Watamu Villas: calm, earthy, timeless coastal living designed to stand out.

We just Lost $961 on a booking!

This right here is exactly why we designed Oceanview Watamu Villas the way we did.

I just missed out on a 6-night booking worth $961 at one of our current Watamu villas because the guest wanted a private pool, not a shared one. Ochre Villas Watamu

Years of operating vacation rentals have taught me that sometimes one design decision can be the difference between getting the booking and losing it.

At Oceanview Watamu Villas, every villa will have its own private pool. And for a comparable 6-night stay, our target rate would be around $300/night — approximately $1,800.

That’s why when we designed Oceanview, we weren’t just thinking about what looks beautiful. We were thinking about what guests actually ask for, what creates privacy, and what can support stronger nightly rates.

3 bedrooms. Private pool. Rooftop ocean views. About a minute from the beach.

We’re building from experience. See the first floor layout. 🙏🏾

Watamu demand is growing. 📈🌴we have Ochre Villas Watamu to prove it.

Our current villas went from $3,000 in August 2025 to $5,000 in August 2026 — a 67% increase.

And peak season? $8,000+ already booked with just 17 days booked in December.

Now imagine the potential by the ocean. 🌊

One thing we’ve learned from operating our current villas is that Watamu isn’t just a destination for international tourists anymore—Kenyan tourism is growing too.

Almost every weekend, our guests are locals, mostly from Nairobi, escaping the city for a quick Friday-to-Sunday getaway. That growing local demand gives us even more confidence in what we’re building.

And it’s easy to see why. From breathtaking sunsets at Mida Creek to kayaking, paddle boarding, and endless days by the ocean, Watamu offers the perfect weekend escape.

This is exactly why we chose to invest here.

Oceanview Villas are now selling off-plan, with only a few villas remaining.

Understanding your market is one of the most important parts of building a successful investment property.

We’ve done our homework. For nearly four years, we’ve been operating our current villas in Watamu , learning what guests want, how the seasons change, and what drives consistent bookings. Along the way, we’ve built something even more valuable—a loyal client base that continues to return.

We’re also fortunate to have strong relationships with both Nairobi residents .kenya and the diaspora, so we’re not relying solely on international tourists. Our bookings come from a diverse network of travelers who already know and trust what we offer.

Now our biggest mission is simple: complete Oceanview Villas. We know the demand is there, and we already have guests asking when they’ll be able to book.

Our villas are keeping us busy this month, and it’s another reminder of why we chose to invest in Watamu.

Owning and managing vacation rentals has given us firsthand experience with the market. We understand the seasonal trends, occupancy patterns, and what guests are looking for. While every destination has high and low seasons, Watamu continues to attract travelers from around the world, making it one of Kenya’s most sought-after coastal destinations.

We’re excited to bring Oceanview Villas to a place we know, love, and believe in. We can’t wait to welcome our first guests and see this community come to life.

Oceanview Villas are now selling off-plan, and only 5 villas remain.

Your dream home by the ocean—and an investment in one of Kenya’s fastest-growing beach destinations.

Imagine ending your day like this. 🐘🌅

Less than 30 minutes from Oceanview, you can watch elephants wander through the golden light as the sun sets over the Arabuko-Sokoke Forest Reserve. Spend the day exploring the forest, spotting incredible wildlife, then finish with one of the most beautiful sunsets Kenya has to offer.

This is what makes Watamu so special—where the beach meets the wild.

We’re also proud to work alongside amazing local businesses that help our guests experience the very best of the area. A special thank you to for sharing the beauty of Watamu and creating unforgettable safari experiences for visitors. Especially in our current villas

As Oceanview grows, one of our biggest goals is to grow with the community by supporting local guides, businesses, and entrepreneurs. When our community thrives, everyone benefits. 🤍

One of the biggest reasons we chose Watamu for our first development is something uniquely Kenyan: the ability to experience two of the world’s greatest adventures in a single day.

Imagine starting your morning on safari in Tsavo, watching elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lions in their natural habitat. Then, just a few hours later, finding yourself on the white sand beaches of Watamu, dipping your feet into the warm Indian Ocean.

Kenya is a true bucket-list destination, attracting travelers from all over the world who dream of experiencing both the wild beauty of Africa and the tranquility of the coast. As we’ve visited Tsavo and observed travelers firsthand, one thing became clear: many visitors want both experiences in one trip.

That’s why we believe Watamu is positioned in exactly the right place at the right time.

People often ask us, “Why Watamu?”

The answer is simple: we’ve seen it firsthand with our current villas.

Over the last years, owning and operating two successful villas in Watamu has given us a deep understanding of the market. We’ve learned what guests are looking for, what drives bookings, and most importantly, what it takes to build and maintain quality properties on the coast.

Building at the coast is different. The climate, materials, maintenance, and construction methods all matter. That’s why we’re taking everything we’ve learned and applying it to Oceanview Watamu Villas.

We’re moving carefully, intentionally, and with a long-term vision. Fortunately, our builder brings years of experience and a strong track record of delivering quality projects, ensuring we’re building something that will stand the test of time.

We truly believe this is one of the most exciting times to invest in Watamu. As demand continues to grow from both local and international travelers, quality destination properties are becoming more valuable than ever.

Experience matters. Quality matters. And in Watamu, we believe the future is bright.

Why Watamu? 🌴

Watamu is quickly becoming one of Kenya’s most attractive coastal investment destinations. Kenya welcomed over 2.7 million international visitors in 2025, while domestic tourism continues to grow as more Nairobi residents, expatriates, and remote workers choose the coast for weekend getaways and longer stays.

With world-class beaches, a thriving hospitality industry, and the unique ability to enjoy both safari and the ocean in the same day, demand for quality vacation homes continues to rise.

That’s exactly why we chose Watamu for Oceanview Villas.
