Hotel was forcefully taken over and stolen behind the backs of the previous Malaysian owners by Chinese company, CAMCE with support from Malaysian Bank, EXIM BANK and Government of Laos. Malaysian owners were kicked out immediately following the first hearing in Laos court which deemed that they are at fault and lost the case entirely and Laos government seek to detain them for stealing from their own hotel and forced to leave before the date as stipulated by the court, with Laos gangsters and polices surrounding the hotel premise!

Previous owners did not sold the hotel willingly and did not take a single cent from the sales as rumored. Previous owners are requesting and seeking for assistance from any international organisations to assist in this unlawful act cast upon them as one of the major Foreign Investors into Lao PDR. This unfair treatment to Foreign Investors into Lao PDR must be let known to the world!
