L’Hôtel Ambalakely est situé sur la RN 7 à environ à 12 km au nord de Fianarantsoa, avantage pour ceux qui vont poursuivre l’aventure sur la nationale 7 ou vers la côte Est. (latitude: 21° 25′, longitude: 47° 10′, 1082m d’altitude).

L’hôtel est un endroit favorable pour ceux qui voudraient découvrir les sites touristiques environnants. Par exemple, le parc national Ranomafana est à 50 km, la plantation de thé Sahambavy à 14 km et Ambalavao (papier antaimoro, marché aux zébus et la réserve à lémurien d’Anjà ) à 68 km sans oublier Fianarantsoa et ses monuments historiques, ainsi que le fameux photographe Pierrot Men.
