To our Face of Namibia family, supporters, partners, contestants and followers,
Over the past year, many of you have noticed our silence and the limited activity surrounding Face of Namibia and our reigning queen, Jane Muhepa, Miss Face of Namibia 2024/2025.
We would like to address this openly and sincerely.
The period from 2024 through 2025 was a very challenging time for the organization, marked by internal restructuring, uncertainty, and operational difficulties. During this time, our ability to function effectively was significantly impacted, and we were unfortunately unable to execute planned activities, appearances, and opportunities that were meant to take place during Jane’s reign.
It is important to note that our official Instagram account was already compromised prior to the crowning of our reigning queen, which further affected our ability to build visibility and maintain consistent communication during her reign. This created additional limitations in showcasing her journey and fulfilling scheduled engagements.
As a result of these combined challenges, the reign of Jane Muhepa was impacted in ways that were not intended, and many planned experiences could not be realized. We sincerely regret this.
Moving forward, we are fully committed to ensuring that the remainder of her reign is intentional, visible, and meaningful. Our focus will be on creating impactful media opportunities, public appearances, empowerment initiatives, and celebratory moments that properly reflect her title as Miss Face of Namibia 2024/2025.
This next phase will also form part of our 10-year Face of Namibia milestone, as we work to rebuild the brand with renewed structure, purpose, and strength.
To our supporters — thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued belief in Face of Namibia throughout this difficult chapter. Your support remains the foundation of our rebuilding journey.
This is not the end, but the beginning of a stronger chapter.
