Tsohon Ɗan Majalisar Wakilai, Danlami Kurfi, Ya Yaba da Ayyukan Gwamna Dikko Radda

Tsohon ɗan majalisar wakilai da ya wakilci mazabar Dutsinma/Kurfi a Majalisar Tarayya daga shekarar 2015 zuwa 2019, Hon. Danlami Mohammad Kurfi, ya yaba da yadda gwamnatin Jihar Katsina ƙarƙashin jagorancin Gwamna Malam Dikko Umar Radda ke tafiyar da mulki, yana mai cewa an samu gagarumin ci gaba musamman a bangaren inganta rayuwar al’umma da tsaro.

A wata tattaunawa da ya yi da ƴan jarida, Hon. Kurfi, wanda kuma jigo ne a jam’iyyar All Progressives Congress (APC), ya bayyana cewa manufofi da shirye-shiryen gwamnatin jihar sun haifar da cigaba a fannoni daban daban kamar ilimi, lafiya, ababen more rayuwa, da kuma tallafa wa matasa da marasa galihu.

Ya ce, “A bayyane yake cewa an samu cigaba a muhimman fannoni da s**a shafi rayuwar jama’a. Gwamnatin ta mayar da hankali kan ayyukan da ke da tasiri kai tsaye ga al’umma, musamman a bangarorin ilimi da kiwon lafiya.”

Hon. Kurfi ya kuma jinjina wa ƙoƙarin gwamnatin jihar wajen magance matsalolin tsaro, yana mai cewa zaman lafiya shi ne ginshiƙin duk wani ci gaba mai ɗorewa. Ya danganta nasarorin da ake samu da haɗin gwiwar da gwamnatin jihar ke yi da hukumomin tsaro da sauran masu ruwa da tsaki.

Haka nan, ya bayyana jin daɗin sa kan yabon da Shugaban Ƙasa, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, ya yi wa gwamnonin Katsina, Kaduna, da Borno kan matakan da suke ɗauka wajen daƙile matsalolin tsaro da inganta yanayin zaman lafiya a jihohinsu.

A cewarsa, “Wannan yabo daga Shugaban Ƙasa abin a yaba ne, kuma shaida ce ta irin ƙoƙari da jajircewar da Gwamna Radda ke yi wajen tabbatar da tsaro da walwalar al’ummar Katsina.”

Ɗan siyasar ya kuma ƙara da cewa haɗin kai tsakanin gwamnatocin jiha da tarayya na da matuƙar muhimmanci wajen shawo kan ƙalubalen tsaro da kuma tabbatar da cigaba mai ma’ana a faɗin Najeriya.

TINUBU'S COMMENDATION: A MORAL BOOST FOR KATSINA STATE AND A TRIBUTE TO COURAGEOUS LEADERSHIP - Hon. Danlami Kurfi

At a time when insecurity remains one of the most painful challenges confronting our nation, words of recognition from the highest office in the land are not merely ceremonial, they are a powerful validation of sacrifice, courage, and responsible leadership.

Hon. Danlami Mohammed Kurfi, former Member of the House of Representatives representing Dutsinma/Kurfi Federal Constituency and Initiator/Chairman of the Tinubu/Dikko Radda Success Project 2027, has warmly commended president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his forthright acknowledgement of the extraordinary efforts of Governor Mal. Dikko Umar Radda, PhD, in securing Katsina State.

President Tinubu's remarks, delivered with clarity and conviction, struck a deep chord across the country.

" We will overcome this unacceptable terrorism and banditry. It is an economic sabotage. I commend many of you, particularly the Governors of Borno, Prof. Zulum, Katsina, Mal. Dikko Radda, Kaduna and many of you who have done so much to defend our freedom, liberty, and our common wealth.

These words, according to Hon. Danlami Kurfi, are more than praise; they are a national salute to Governors who chose courage over convenience, action over excuses, and sacrifice over silence.

For Katsina State, Hon. Kurfi added, this commendation is especially significant. Governor Dikko Umar Radda did not inherit an easy task. He met a state wounded by banditry, rural displacement, fear, and economic disruption. Yet, rather than retreat behind bureaucracy, he confronted insecurity head on, strengthening collaboration with security Agencies, supporting community-based intelligence, restoring confidence among citizens, and demonstrating that leadership must be felt where pain is greatest.

Hon. Ɗanlami Kurfi Debunks Report on Release of Convicted Bandits, Defends Katsina Peace Deal

An APC chieftain and former Member of the House of Representatives who represented Dutsinma/Kurfi Federal Constituency in Katsina State, Hon. Danlami Muhammad Kurfi, has dismissed reports suggesting that the Katsina State Government plans to release convicted bandits as part of its ongoing peace initiative.

Hon. Kurfi made the clarification in an interview with KATSINA POST, reacting to a recent online report alleging that Governor Dikko Umaru Radda’s administration is preparing to free bandits under a peace agreement.

According to him, the report is a misrepresentation of the facts. He explained that the individuals being considered for release are not convicted bandits, but rather relatives of bandits or innocent persons who were arrested in markets and other public places during security operations, often solely due to their association or family links.

“There is no plan to release convicted bandits. The people under consideration are relatives of bandits or innocent individuals who were arrested without evidence of direct involvement in criminal activities,” Kurfi stated.

He noted that the state government’s peace strategy is built on justice, intelligence gathering, and reconciliation, not on granting freedom to hardened criminals.

The former lawmaker also commended local communities, traditional leaders, and concerned stakeholders across Katsina State for their roles in supporting the peace process, which he said has contributed to the relative stability currently being enjoyed in many parts of the state.

Hon. Kurfi further criticized individuals and groups opposing the peace initiative, describing them as political opportunists seeking to exploit the insecurity situation for political advantage ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“Some of those attacking the peace process are not even resident in Katsina State. Many of them live in Kaduna or Abuja and are simply attempting to politicize insecurity for selfish interests,” he alleged.

He urged residents of the state to continue supporting the government’s efforts to consolidate peace, warning that misinformation could undermine the progress already recorded.
