MODULAR FREQUENCY

An Ephemeral Performance
In Homage to Willem Harbers

On October 3, 2026, Modular Frequency was performed as an intimate homage to Willem Harbers.

No visual documentation of the performance exists. What unfolded that evening remains only in the memories of those who witnessed it. A moment that cannot be replayed, reproduced, or revisited existing solely in the experience of its presence.

Some performances are not meant to be preserved as images, but to remain alive in memory.

A dialogue between the forward movement of sound and the backward movement of the image.

Where time comes undone. It is an intimate homage in which memory is reconstructed in reverse.
Each frequency is a module of absence and celebration at once.
Created in the context of the exhibition dedicated to Willem Harbers.

WILLEM HARBERS
Solo Exhibition
A Celebration of His Artistic Journey

This Saturday, 3 October, Gallery Intussen opens its doors for a very special evening dedicated to Willem Harbers.

This exhibition is more than a presentation of artworks. It is a moment to come together around an artist, his journey, and a lifetime devoted to creating.

Bringing together a significant selection of works from different periods of his career, the exhibition has been conceived in close dialogue with Willem himself — bringing his work, his story, and the people who have crossed his path into one space.

Some moments are meant to be experienced while they are happening.

This is one of them.

We warmly invite you to join us this Saturday — to encounter Willem’s work, to celebrate his remarkable artistic journey, and, most importantly, to share this moment with Willem himself.

At 19:00, the evening will also feature a special live audiovisual performance created in tribute to Willem, bringing together movement, sound, image and memory.

For Gallery Intussen, it is a profound honour to open our doors for this gathering and to celebrate an artist whose work and presence have touched so many people throughout his journey.

This was the second Solstice Art Festival in Amsterdam, organized by our brand Kitsch & Huis together with our , and we couldn’t be happier.

Behind this event is an incredible team, a great deal of passion, and above all, a wonderful energy shared by artists, friends, families, and visitors. Over these days, we celebrated art, creativity, and human connection, surrounded by nature and people who believe in the importance of coming together, sharing, and creating.

In an increasingly fast-paced world, gatherings like this remind us of the value of community, inspiration, and the authentic moments that bring us closer together.

Organized by Kitsch & Huis, in collaboration with , and 𝐡𝐞𝐭 𝐑𝐢𝐣𝐤 𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐞 𝐊𝐞𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐫 , Solstice Art Festival is a free Summer Solstice celebration bringing together art, performance, gastronomy, rituals, music, and community in a vibrant creative atmosphere.
