Magnificent Sculpture of Gangadhar Shiva.
The sculpture is of Gangadhar Shiva where Shiva is holding river Ganga into his matted lock hairs while she is descending to Earth after penance of Sage Bhagiratha.
We can see Lord Shiva in Samabhanga posture, his lower right hand in Katyavilambita mudra, upper left hand in Chin mudra and two other hands holding his spread out jatas from which Ganga will descend.
Sage Bhagiratha can be seen in the left, standing on one leg, performing penance.
Goddess Parvati can be seen in right.
On top of Lord Shiva's head, we can see Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati in Anjali mudra.
The whole Temple structure is carved out of a single massive rock, built in the year 550 A.D under the reign of the Chalukya dynasty.
