Echoes of the Khampa Rebellion : A Hidden Chapter in Upper Mustang

Step back in time at the Khampa Rebellion Camp in Upper Mustang, Nepal—a rugged outpost where Tibetan Khampa warriors made their stand against Chinese forces from the 1960s to the early 1970s. After the 1959 Tibetan Uprising, these fierce guerrillas fled to this remote Himalayan haven, using the camp as a base for resistance until the Nepalese army dismantled it in 1974. Today, the haunting ruins whisper tales of bravery amid Mustang's stark, wind-swept landscapes.

Just 45 minutes from our hotel, this off-the-beaten-path gem is perfect for history buffs and adventure seekers. Book your stay — your Mustang epic awaits!
