Utterly Marquee + Event Hire turns 6!
Six years of creating magical spaces, building dreams from the ground up (literally!), and working side by side as a husband + wife team.
We’re so proud of how far we’ve come — and so grateful for the incredible journey so far. Some of our favourite milestones:
✨ Over 500 marquee weddings
✨ Surviving a global pandemic just 5 months into business
✨ Moving warehouses
✨ Welcoming a baby right before our 3rd wedding season
✨ Working at some of the most beautiful venues and backyards across NZ
✨ Growing the business year after year — and still loving what we do.
This year the PM was even in our marquee for an IKEA event!
To our amazing team, many of whom have been with us for years — thank you for your skill, laughter, and heart in every single setup.
To our incredible clients — thank you for trusting us with your most special days. And to our families, venues, and vendor friends — we’re so lucky to do this alongside you.
As we celebrate this milestone, we’re beyond excited for what’s ahead — the launch of wedding venue, and continuing to grow strong relationships across our industry plus of course creating beautiful spaces for our clients.
Here’s to more love stories, more laughter, and maybe a few less gas station dinners (but no promises!). 😉
