Holidays done!! Now we're excited to welcome another season of cyclists and travellers. A taste of rural NZ, with complimentary home baking, complimentary full Breakfast, Dinner for those who wish to dine in, local wine and good old country hospitality. Lots of little quiet spots tucked away for some one on one, or couple time, as well as opportunities to mingle if that's your thing. Alps to Ocean Cycle Trail at our doorstep. Final stay before the last leg into Oamaru. For those touring our beautiful Country by car, call in and experience a night at Windhaven. We're smack bang between Christchurch and Queenstown and just under 2 hours from Mount Cook, Tekapo and Dunedin. We'd love to host you!!

What an end to a wonderful season. Cycle Journeys, www.cyclejourneys.co.nz , and Braemar Station, www.braemarstation.co.nz , hosted many of the A2O accomodation providers for a night of celebration and reflection of the 2025/2026 season. To say our faces were sore from laughing is an understatement. What a terrific bunch of people, and that scenery!!!! Wow!!

The video shows the start of the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail from Mt Cook to Braemar Lodge with a helicopter drop off, an overnight stay, and on to Twizel the following day. Spectacular!!
