I haven’t grown flowers before. This spring I’ve had the focus to grow some beautiful flowers to cut. We enjoyed the tulips, just picked some peonies and our first sweet pea flower is out! More to come….

It’s so beautiful to have come out of winter and now enjoy longer sunny days and the garden looking lush. Really enjoy the early morning ritual of feeding the animals, watering the gardens, collecting eggs and some vegetables for the day.

An enjoyable morning volunteering at Green By Nature making up some of the 600 hanging baskets which will be hanging in the streets of Nelson city centre this summer. They always look so pretty each year.

Early spring. Birdsong, the sound of the sea lapping on the beach, blossom, citrus on the trees, and fresh air. Such a beautiful time of the day.
