My first hosting was almost a disaster…
My very first guest booked a 9-day stay, and I was so excited. I prepared everything and sent all the details ahead of time.
But something went wrong. He couldn’t connect to his data using his international network, couldn’t contact me, and couldn’t find the place so he stayed in a hotel for the night.
I honestly thought that was it.
I was already preparing myself to lose the booking and waste 9 days on my calendar.
Even though he asked if I could pick him up the next morning because he only planned to rest in the hotel for one night, I was already preparing myself for comparisons with the hotel.
I spent the whole afternoon worried he might complain…
Then suddenly he sent the best review.
I felt so relieved.
First Airbnb hosting lesson: sometimes things start messy… but still end beautifully. Praise God.
