Sobrang thankful ako na hindi ko 'to napanood sa sinehan nung una, kasi iba talaga yung experience panoorin ang Bugonia dito sa bahay. Kung fan kayo nina Emma Stone at Jesse Plemons, lalo na yung mga weirdly dark films ni Yorgos Lanthimos, this is definitely for you. Tungkol siya sa dalawang conspiracy theorists na kinidnap yung isang high-powered CEO dahil sa sobrang pagkapraning na isa raw siyang alien na plano tayong ubusin. Sobrang weird, nakakatawa, at nakaka-tense at the same time. Parang hindi mo alam kung maaawa ka o matatakot sa mga nangyayari, especially with how the plot keeps you guessing until the very end without giving away any spoilers.�
Ang ganda nung visuals lalo na yung bawat facial expression nina Emma at Jesse; it feels so intimate and intense kapag naka-projector setup. Parang mas lalong nagiging immersive yung pagiging "unhinged" ng movie dahil kitang-kita mo bawat detail nung bizarre world na ginawa nila. I-send niyo na 'to sa mga friends niyong mahilig sa mga mind-bending sci-fi or dark comedies para sabay-sabay kayong ma-stress at ma-amaze this weekend. Watching the East Highland chaos on a projector setup is a whole different level of emotional damage. Hindi mo pa nararanasan ang tunay na life-sized stress hangga’t hindi mo nakikita si Cassie sa banyo or yung breakdown ni Rue na kasing-laki na ng pader mo. I’m telling you, if hindi niyo pa napapanood ang Wuthering Heights on a projector setup, are you even living? Like, actually, what are you doing with your life? Sobrang ganda nung cinematic shots ng moors at yung lala ng tension nina Catherine and Heathcliff!!! it’s the ultimate tragic aesthetic na deserve mapanood nang life-sized. This is literally your sign to romanticize your life and feel all the pain in 4K. If you don't watch this and let the haunting vibes take over your room, we are seriously going to have a problem. I’m not even kidding, I will personally haunt your "For You" page until you do.
Don't even think about watching this on a tiny laptop screen and wasting the "feels," or else I’m coming for your phone. Seriously, invite the squad and just rot in bed with this classic para sabay-sabay tayong ma-stress.
