Just before todayโ€™s Competition Winnersโ€™ Concert, violinist Anaรฏs Gilson found out that her violin had to be sent for repair after the seams opened.

A replacement violin solved one problemโ€”but introduced another. The E string kept whistling.

Fortunately, one simple string change was all it took. โค๏ธ

Wishing Anaรฏs the very best of luck at tonightโ€™s concert! ๐ŸŽถโœจ

The Vรกclav Hudeฤek Academy is much more than a series of masterclasses โ€“ itโ€™s a place where young musicians grow, build lasting connections and often return years later to perform as established artists.

In this performance, Vรกclav Hudeฤek is joined by former Academy participant Kristina Fialovรก in Max Bruchโ€™s Double Concerto, presented in an arrangement for violin and viola. ๐ŸŽป

SAME VIOLIN. DIFFERENT STRINGS. ๐ŸŽป

For the final part of this comparison series, Bohdan Warchal plays the same violin with THE BEAST strings โ€” our most powerful and projecting violin set.

At the end, he shares his thoughts on a timeless question:โ€จIs it better to invest in better gearโ€ฆ or simply practice more?
What do you think? ๐Ÿ‘€

๐ŸŽฌ The full comparison video is now available on our YouTube channel.
