BUILDING SPOTLIGHT 🐻

Welcome to the Sweet Shop! Home of delicious snacks, fun games, plenty of seating, the best view at camp, & our U.P. bear Dog 🙌

The Sweet Shop is an HYC staple, giving campers a cozy spot to spend their free time. We love the amazing view our new shop has & have loved seeing all of the memories made within these 4 walls. Our staff also meets here each morning to plan & pray together!

Looking to host a retreat or reunion? Our camp is ready for rent & we know your guests will love this scenic hangout spot. DM us for more info - we’d love to host you! 🌲

This summer, we stepped into a new chapter in Allegan, and God reminded us that He is still faithful.

During our first Tuesday evening service of Teen Week One, something happened that had never happened in Hiawatha history at Hiawatha (that we can recall): every single camper went forward for prayer. In a new place, God met our campers in a familiar way — drawing hearts closer to Him and reminding us that the ministry of Hiawatha has always been about Jesus above all else.

We’re so thankful for those who helped make this evenings at camp like this possible, and for God’s continued work through HYC.

We had a blast at our open house last weekend, welcoming over 150 people onto the grounds to see God’s faithfulness up close & in person. We are incredibly thankful for our amazing community of old and new friends supporting HYC.

We were able to take a walk down memory lane with photos through the years, enjoy delicious coffee from Kairos Coffee, share a meal together, and walk through the grounds celebrating what amazing changes have happened in order for this past summer to take place.

It is not lost on us how blessed we are to experience God’s goodness through this ministry as we endeavor to help young people get excited about a relationship with Jesus Christ. We cannot wait to see how God continues to bless this ministry on these new grounds for years to come - thank you, Jesus!

If you would like to give to help continue the work needed to better serve others at our new home, you can give at hiawathayouthcamp.com/donate. We have a lot of projects coming up that we would love your help with. Thank you for your continued prayers & support - we wouldn’t be where we are without your generosity!
