🌟 National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) – Summer 2026 🌟
Ready to grow your leadership skills and bring them back to your unit, school, and everyday life? NYLT is a 6-day, high-energy course designed to build confidence, teamwork, communication, and leadership through hands-on activities and real-world challenges.
Led by an exceptional youth staff, participants experience Scouting at its very best.
Each course is limited to 48 participants

Join us for the America250 Celebration, Last Frontier Council’s celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary of independence. Scouts will honor this historic milestone through outdoor skills, leadership, hands-on learning, and Scouting program demonstrations.

FIRE BAN – ALL LFC PROPERTIES
A burn ban is now in effect at all Last Frontier Council properties until further notice.
Due to dry conditions and wildfire risk, campfires and charcoal fires are prohibited.

🌩️ Hazardous Weather Training – Stay Current, Stay Prepared 🌩️
Severe weather can happen anytime — and as leaders in direct contact positions, we must be prepared.
To be considered fully trained, Hazardous Weather Training must be completed every two years.
Unlike Youth Protection Training, this course does not impact your ability to retain membership. However, it does affect our council’s trained leader numbers — and we want every unit represented well and fully trained.
🚨 All Day Camp staff are required to have current Hazardous Weather Training.
If your training has expired (or is about to), now is the time to get caught up. It only takes a short amount of time and ensures we’re ready to protect our Scouts when weather conditions change.
Let’s keep our leaders trained, our numbers strong, and our Scouts safe.

In 2026, the United States celebrates its 250th birthday, and Scouting America will be part of that national moment right here in the Last Frontier Council.
This will be a once-in-a-generation celebration.
