Hey gang! We're looking for neighborhoods that want to be part of our Train & Hot Chocolate nights. Here's how it works.

We pull in with the lit-up trackless train and the Cocoa & Joe trailer, run the snow machines and the Christmas music, and your street gets a couple of hours of kids riding a train in the dark with hot chocolate in their hands. It's one of our favorite things we do all year.

WHAT IT COSTS

Nothing to the neighborhood. Families just pay at the window:

– Train rides — $5 per person
– Glow Gang Pass — $12 (unlimited train rides + a light-up headband or necklace)
– Hot chocolate, Snowballs, Cocoa Dunkers — $5 each
– Deluxe Dunkers — $2 more

WHEN

The train is out at big events most weekends, so neighborhood nights are Monday through Thursday, mid-November through December. We do these to fill in our open weeknights and keep our crew working through the winter.

WHAT MAKES A GOOD ONE

– A bigger neighborhood. Small streets just don't get the turnout.
– Mostly flat, with a loop the train can run and come back around. Big hills are a no.
– A place to set up — clubhouse lot, cul-de-sac, somewhere the crowd can stand and there's parking.
– Plenty of kids.
– Somebody willing to promote it.

That last one matters more than people expect. We don't advertise these — it's your neighborhood's night, not a public event — so getting the word out on your neighborhood page and email list is on your end. The best nights we had last year were the ones where the organizer really pushed it.

If we can make your neighborhood work, we'll be in touch by November 22nd with a date. Sooner you get it to us the better — we only have so many weeknights.
