America’s Clogging Hall of Fame (ACHF) is an organization dedicated to the preservation of the old time square dance and clogging.

ACHF was founded in 1981 by Dan and Sandy Angel for the purpose of honoring our past leaders and providing a place for dancers from all walks of life to come together and dance. ACHF is a family-oriented organization that promotes clean, family-friendly events that are designed to preserve our traditional artform while welcoming the growth of the modern form of the dance. ACHF sanctions many competitions throughout the year where teams and dancers can qualify to compete in the ACHF World Championships dance-off the last full weekend in October. Unless Halloween falls on that date, then it is held the weekend before. Any team finishing 1st or 2nd in TWO sanctioned competitions qualifies to compete at the dance-off.

What an exciting night at The Carolina Opry!

A huge congratulations to our 2024 ACHF Opry Female, Haley Crisp, and 2025 ACHF Opry Female, Teagan Blackburn, on their performance last night alongside the incredibly talented All That!

What an amazing opportunity to share their love of clogging on such a special stage! We are so proud of these two talented young ladies and the way they continue to represent America’s Clogging Hall of Fame and our clogging community.

Thank you to All That! and The Carolina Opry for giving our dancers the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful show!

We are pleased to recognize the 2026 ACHF Ambassadors: Rob Pack, Jessica Larson, Paul Melville, and Tara Holmes.

The ACHF Ambassadors are selected by the Executive Board. The previous board describes this honor as a step that often precedes Hall of Fame induction, though it is not a requirement for future inductees.

As part of passing the torch from the previous board to the new board, the outgoing board selected two of this year’s Ambassadors (Rob & Jessica) and the newly seated board selected the other two (Paul & Tara). These four honorees have demonstrated sustained leadership, service, and positive contributions to the clogging community through their work as competitors, directors, judges, instructors, and leaders.

We are pleased to recognize the recipients of the 2026 ACHF Academic Scholarships: Madi Wells and Pamela McCarter.

America’s Clogging Hall of Fame awards up to two $500 academic scholarships each year to outstanding students who have competed within ACHF for at least the past four consecutive years. Recipients must demonstrate strong academic achievement and a continued dedication to the clogging community. Scholarship funds are paid directly to the student’s college, university, community college, or technical school.

As part of the application, students were required to submit a one-page, single-spaced typed essay responding to the following topic:
“How has your involvement in clogging and ACHF helped shape the person you are today? Describe the lessons, experiences, or relationships that have influenced you through your participation in clogging and ACHF. Explain how you plan to carry those lessons into your education, future career, and community.”

In addition to the essay, applicants submitted an official academic transcript and a letter of recommendation from their clogging director or teacher.

Madi Wells and Pamela McCarter met these requirements and were recognized during the ACHF National Championships. We congratulate them on their accomplishments both in the classroom and on the dance floor, and we are proud to support them as they continue their education.

We are proud to recognize the dancers selected to the 2026 ACHF All American Teams.

Each year, ACHF selects outstanding dancers for the Junior All American Team, All American Team, and Adult All American Team. These dancers are chosen through a nominating and selection process based on a variety of pre requisites including, but not limited to, their attitude, sportsmanship, leadership, and dedication to clogging throughout the season.

Being named to an All American Team is a significant honor that recognizes both individual achievement and the support of directors, parents, and teams. These dancers represent the strength of the clogging community and will be showcased as part of the ACHF National Championships.

The 2026 All American Teams will also have the opportunity to perform at the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud on June 12, 2027. We look forward to seeing them take the stage and share their talent with a broader audience.

We are proud to recognize Augusta Willimon of the Mile High Stompers as the 2026 ACHF Director of the Year.

Augusta is the owner and director of Mile High Stompers Dance Studio in Six Mile, South Carolina. She has been clogging for 18 years and founded her team in 2021 before opening her own studio in 2022. Under her direction, the Mile High Stompers have grown into a multiple-time national champion team.

In addition to her work as a director, Augusta competed this year with Maleia Bryson and earned the 2026 ACHF National Duo/Duet of the Year title. Her recognition as Director of the Year reflects the leadership, teaching, and commitment she brings to her dancers and to the clogging community.
