It’s always a pleasure welcoming George Clooney and his family to The Benchmark Inn! ✨

This weekend, George took a short break from filming his latest movie, In Love, to spend some time with family here in Augusta.

The upcoming film stars Clooney alongside Annette Bening and is based on Amy Bloom’s bestselling memoir, In Love: A Memoir of Love and Loss. The moving story explores a couple’s journey through the challenges of early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.

📸 The photo was taken on the set of In Love in New Jersey, where George has been busy filming before taking a little time away to visit family in Augusta.

We’re delighted George and his family chose to spend part of their weekend with us and hope they enjoyed their time in Augusta!

💚✅ PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS! ✅💚

It's unfortunate that some people feel the need to try to bring down local small businesses. Owning and operating a small business takes hard work, dedication, and pride, and we're not going to let negativity change that!

To the person who felt the need to report The Benchmark Inn to the health department, we can assure you that our surprise inspection went well! We passed with NO MARKS regarding cleanliness! 🙌🏨

The inspection did identify two items: a lock needed for our cleaning supplies and brighter lighting in our public bathroom. The lock has already been taken care of, and new lighting has been ordered! We take every inspection seriously because providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests is something we take great pride in.

We work hard every day to maintain our property and give our guests the best experience possible. We may not be able to please everyone, but we will always do our best to serve our guests and our community.

To everyone who continues to support The Benchmark Inn, recommends us to friends and family, and chooses to stay with us, THANK YOU! ❤️ Your support means more than you know, and it's because of people like YOU that we keep doing what we love!

🎉 Happy Birthday to Dyllon! 🎉

Yes, he’s a great barista at Benchmark Coffee, but Dyllon is also one of those people who is always ready to jump in and help wherever he’s needed. ❤️

Need help with a hotel guest’s bags? He’s there.
Need someone to help cook breakfast in the morning? He’s there.
Setting up for an event? He’s there.
Taking care of the garden? Yep, he does that too! 🌿

He’s one of those team members who doesn’t just say, “That’s not my job.” He sees something that needs to be done and jumps in to help.

We are so happy to have Dyllon as part of the Benchmark family and appreciate everything he does to help make both Benchmark Coffee and The Benchmark Inn a great place for our guests and customers.

Yes, we have joined the 21st century and use a little technology to help keep up with things. 😂 So you may have to get through our AI phone agent Madison first... but once you get to a real person, Kim is our person!
