Looking for some free, family-friendly summer fun? KCEOC Community Action Partnership is hosting a Party at the Park, and your whole family is invited!

Bring the kids out for an afternoon packed with excitement, laughter, and community spirit.

Join us at Thompson Recreation & RV Park for a Kids Only Yard Sale. Set up begins at 7:00am and shopping begins at 8:00am. This is for ALL community members and campers to set up for FREE of charge. Barbourville Toursim has done a phenomenal job with this event in prior years and we always enjoy this time of year. Bring any and all children’s items and we will see you there.🧸🏀🎮

Barbourville Tourism and Barbourville ARH presents: Red, White & Boom — a FREE concert at Thompson RV Park! 🎆

Join us Friday, July 3rd at 5:00 PM for live music with Ty Herndon, Hannah Ellis, and Cody Fuson. Stay after the show for a spectacular fireworks display!
Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and family — fun for all ages. Share with friends and see you there!

‼️ 606-622-4992 to book reservations for 2026 ‼️

We will begin booking 2026, tomorrow, January 2nd, at 9:00am. Call until you receive an answer. It is first come first serve. No reserved sites. Even if you are in the park at this time you must still call. Please read and be prepared to book accordingly. Some changes have taken place for certain holidays.

💵 Deposits: A $50 deposit is required for all holidays and special events. These are due by February 1st. You can pay host or pay at City Hall. (They have a drive thru window) This is only refundable if the host can book the site AND If cancelled within 72 hours.

🇺🇸 4th of July: You must book one week minimum. You must be in the park by the 2nd and cannot leave until the 5th due to equipment that will be set up and there will not be enough room for campers to go in or out during that time. You can run your week however you like but must be in the park on above dates.

🍁 October: You HAVE to book the full month.
