These postcards passed through this building back when it was Bend’s post office. Now they line the staircase at The Westman with handwriting, stamps and little glimpses of somebody else’s day.

Best Hotel Bar 2026. 🍸

Minnie’s was voted the Best Hotel Bar in Central Oregon for 2026 in The Source Weekly’s Best of Central Oregon Readers’ Poll.

This one’s especially sweet as it wasn’t a critic’s pick or an editor’s list, it was the locals.

To everyone who voted, stopped in for a drink, pulled up a chair, brought a friend, or became a regular - thank you.

First Fridays at Minnie’s | September 4

This Friday at Minnies brings a new maker to the bar - Natalie Piteo, our Featured Artist for September.

By day, Natalie is a full-time registered nurse. Off the clock, she’s a self-taught silversmith, working out of her own studio in Bend and teaching herself the craft one piece at a time - shaping metal and setting each stone by hand.

Her work starts with the gemstone, not the design. Every natural stone is different, and to Natalie, each one seems to suggest its own shape. What she builds around it feels grounded and intentional. Jewelry that looks like it grew there, pulled from time spent outside - the high desert, mountain light, the quiet colors of Oregon’s open spaces.

Meet Natalie and see the collection in person this Friday at The Westman.
