Last weekend, we had the pleasure of welcoming Steve, a colleague of Brian's from their Pennsylvania plant, along with his father Scott. Scott had lost his lower leg in a farming accident a few years ago; we believed it would be a great experience for him to visit the ranch and harvest a notable buck. Congratulations to Scott, and thank you for traveling to Michigan to visit us.

Last week was busy with lots of fun memories made. Bruce Vanderkolk purchased a hunt to support Kalkaska Sand and Snow and gifted it to his grandson Levi. Such a cool looking buck!

Also had one of our favorite doe slayers Tyler to come fill his freezer and our nephew Kasen came with Grandpa Jim to help harvest some doe too. Thanks all!

What a FUN day! An inclusive group from Hudsonville High School came up for our first ever field trip. They learned all about deer and what we do at the ranch. They helped us feed, they learned about antlers/sheds, ate some venison sticks, we went on a hayride to smash some pumpkins for the deer and ended the day with a little shed hunting. We hope they always remember the fun we had and that they can do big things in life no matter what! A beautiful day spent with some wonderful kids!
