There’s just something about The Black River Nest. 🤍🌿

A cozy place to slow down, spend time with the people you love, and enjoy everything Black River Falls has to offer. Sitting on nearly 5 acres along the Black River, yet only about a mile from downtown, it really is the best of both worlds. 🏡🦅

We’ve loved sharing this little piece of home with our guests, and we’d love to host you next!

The Nest is all ready for our next guests! This stay is extra special because family is coming to town to attend Sundae on the Farm this weekend. I love that this little place brings people back home and helps reconnect them with our family’s farm and the community we love.

And of course, I love leaving a few special treats to make their stay even sweeter—the best chocolate and a bottle of w**e from Creekside Winery. It’s the little touches that make hosting so much fun.

Welcome to The Nest… we can’t wait to have you! 🤍

She is complete. ❤️

Our life-size checkerboard finally has a home overlooking the beautiful Black River.

What started as an idea became a family project, and today we get to see it come to life. I can already picture guests gathering, laughing, making memories, and slowing down long enough to enjoy the view.

It’s the little touches that make a place special, and this one might just be my favorite.

Welcome to your new home, checkerboard. ♟️

I’d say that’s a success 😍 Look at those beautiful new windows! And somehow the view got even better 🌅✨ Loving the transformation at our river house already!

Well… one little project turned into another 😍

We decided to replace the front room windows and combine the two middle windows into one large picture window overlooking the water. 🦅✨ I can already picture sitting there with coffee watching the eagles fly by.

I love bringing together the history and character of this cottage with the beauty of nature outside. Every update makes this place feel even more special for our guests.

Stay tuned because apparently I’m always thinking of the next project 🤍
