☀️ MAY IS MELANOMA AWARENESS MONTH ☀️

This month is always personal for our family.
12 years ago at the age of 26, my cutie precious husband was diagnosed with melanoma. It’s something so many people think only happens “later in life” or only to people who spend years tanning, but melanoma does not discriminate.

As an aesthetics provider, skin health means so much more to me now. Early detection truly saves lives. Please wear your SPF, schedule your skin checks, and pay attention to changes in your skin. A few minutes of prevention is worth everything.

If you notice:
• A mole changing shape or color
• Spots that itch, bleed, or won’t heal
• Anything new or unusual

Get it checked. Don’t wait. (our derm NP) is the absolute best if you have not had a skin check this year. We also work alongside St. Thomas pathology to ensure that you are taken care of.

Wear the sunscreen, book the appointment, and protect the skin you’re in. 🤍

Swelling, bruising, and a little asymmetry at first? Completely normal. Results take time to settle, and trusting the process (and your injector 😉) is everything.

As an injector, I’ll always be honest with my patients about the healing phase .. because natural looking, beautiful results don’t happen instantly… they evolve 🤍
