This award recognizes our work commemorating the 100th anniversary of the crash of the U.S.S. Shenandoah. We are proud to have turned a solemn moment in history into a meaningful, community‑wide experience through efforts like Hunt for the 100, enhancements to historic sites, and promotion that reached well beyond Noble County.
This project honored the Shenandoah’s legacy, brought our community together, and supported local businesses along the way. Being recognized at EODA’s 36th Annual Meeting on April 24—alongside keynote speakers John Carey and Bill Arnett—made this moment even more special.
