One of the best parts about our location is the 2 minute walk to this view. I took my coffee down with me this morning and just watched the waves rolling in. Lake Michigan truly is a treasure.

Greetings from beautiful Charlevoix!

We have so much vibrant fauna here in Northern Michigan. From rabbits and deer, black squirrels and cardinals (a few of which visit our garden!) to foxes and geese... Today on my daily beach visit, I saw a family of ducks!

Greetings from Charlevoix! We support local business!!!

In fact, I have to tell you about a wonderful local business called Jordan's Teas. I picked up a few great items from Jordan's booth at the Charlevoix Farmer's Market (Thursdays 8am-1pm), and I've got to say these are some of the best teas and coffees I've had in some time.

The best part, though, is Jordan herself! This incredible woman travels the world handpicking teas, herbs, spices, coffee beans and mushrooms and has a story for each adventure. Seriously, check out Jordan's Teas if you get a chance!
