✅ Know your truck's numbers
✅ Get pre-approved
✅ Negotiate out-the-door, not monthly
✅ Keep your trade-in separate
✅ Decide on add-ons at home

A weight distribution hitch does NOT let you tow more. Not one pound. 🚫

What it DOES do: spreads the tongue weight back to your front axle and the camper's axles, so your truck sits level, steers right and stops right. That's a big safety win, and plenty of trucks require one above a certain tongue weight.

What it DOESN'T do:
❌ Raise your payload (that yellow door sticker still says the same thing)
❌ Raise your axle ratings
❌ Raise your truck's max weight

And the hitch itself counts against your payload too.

Over without the hitch? You're still over with it. You just feel it less, right up until you need to stop.
