Did you know it takes me at least 10 hours to flip the whole house between guests?

Sometimes that includes ironing pillowcases. I don’t do it every single time, but every detail that’s part of someone’s stay is thought about.

You may never notice all the things that happen behind the scenes, but I hope you can feel the care that goes into them. ❤️

The Trieschmann House isn’t just a place to stay. It’s a place that I genuinely adore, and I feel a great responsibility to care for it in the way it deserves. 🏡

Three days later… Carter and Chandler were BACK! 😂🏡

This time, they brought Seylor and Brynn along to take on The Stranger Things Escape Room! 🎬🔐

Since this room is based in the 1980s, there was definitely a little bit of a learning curve when it came to handling some of the props. 😂 Let’s just say… some of those old-school gadgets aren’t quite as intuitive as they used to be!

But hey, I think they still had a pretty good time just hanging out in a funky 1980s living room! 😆

Carter and Chandler were so much fun to host! 🥳

Carter had actually been at The Trieschmann House just a week earlier to test out The Stranger Things Escape Room with his baseball team. While he was here, he told me he’d be back—and I was absolutely thrilled when I saw his name pop up on our online booking! 🥹❤️

Seeing his excitement about the house and his desire to come back so soon was incredibly encouraging. As a small business, those little moments mean so much to us!

Thank you, Carter and Chandler, for coming back and spending some more time with us! We loved having y’all! 🏡✨

This group has been SO supportive throughout our whole house-renovating journey, so when they came to experience an escape room, I was absolutely delighted! 🥹❤️

And let me tell you… Bree deserves a special award. 😂

She was literally wearing a boot and STILL made it up and down those stairs to do the escape room. She officially wins our “Most Determined Escape Room Player” award! 🏆😂

Aaron, Bree, Lance, Tammy, Clara, and Eve got out in a super impressive 41 minutes 29 seconds with only 1 clue. 😲

Another thing that made their escape room so memorable is Eve and Clara stayed the night, and it was such a joy to host them. 🥰

That is exactly the kind of experience I had in mind when we created The Trish.

Out-of-town family can stay here, local family can come over, everyone can spend time together, enjoy an escape room, laugh, make memories, and actually be together.

That’s the kind of place we wanted The Trieschmann House to be, so this was a major moment for me 🥹
