Guest service colleagues are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires. You'll be the face of Hyatt as a Guest Service Colleauge. Additional Guest Service Host Responsibilities:

Transportation:

Diving responsibilities: pick up and drop off guests when requested throughout the day.
Maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles, interior and exterior.
Requirements
Valid driving license.
Comfort in loading and unloading luggage weighing in excess of 50 lbs.
Airport travel and driving knowledge.
Bell/Guest Services:

Guest request fulfillment, luggage/terminal assistance, shoe shining, guest room drops (Front Office welcome packets, letters, newspapers, amenities, etc.
Front Office/VIP Coordination

Assisting in the personalization of our guest experience – reviewing GEM notes, being aware of arrival times
Strategically meeting with operations to enhance guest’s arrival experience
Reviewing stay comments for upcoming guest stay, adding traces, and communicating vital information to appropriate departments
Supplementing support in areas that require assistance: check-in/out process, PBX, guest complaints, and procurement
Lobby Ambassador / Concierge:

Greeting guests upon their arrival and departure of the hotel.
Engaging with guests throughout the lobby level regarding their stay and providing assistance when needed.
Assist with information: directions, flight tracking, food and beverage recommendations, and local attractions.
Ensure knowledge of the surrounding areas and able to guide guests should they need assistance with finding out of hotel activities/events.
Security:

Responsible for the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. You will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required.
Patrolling the building and ensuring all areas and doors are secured.
Providing detailed reports any incidents that occur.
Overnight menu fulfillment


Scheduling Flexibility

The expectation is that you have full and open availability to work AM, PM, & Overnight shifts including weekend availability based on business need. The hotel will do our best to honor any shift and schedule preferences, but preferences are not guaranteed.
